  • $15,000 for travel delay/missed connection
  • $6000 rental vehicle excess
  • $5000 for loss of Frequent Flyer points
  • $3000 for emergency dental
  • $50,000 accidental death or permanent disability
  • $2.5 million for personal liability cover

What does AA Travel Insurance’s Essentials policy cover?

AA Travel Insurance’s International Essentials policy provides cover for the basics when travelling overseas. It has a lower level of cover for overseas medical treatment, $250,000, plus lower limits across other areas of coverage:

  • $5000 for cancellation or curtailment of travel plans
  • $500 for emergency dental expenses
  • $5000 for personal baggage
  • $500,000 for personal liability
  • $5000 rental vehicle excess

What does AA Travel Insurance’s Frequent Traveller policy cover?

AA Travel Insurance’s International Frequent Flyer policy provides the same level of cover as AA Travel Insurance’s International Comprehensive policy, but across unlimited trips taken over a 12-month period, up to a maximum of 60 days per trip.

What’s covered by AA Travel Insurance’s Domestic Comprehensive policy?

The main features of AA Travel Insurance’s Domestic Comprehensive policy include cover for:

  • $15,000 for journey cancellation
  • $15,000 for additional expenses
  • $2000 for travel delay expenses
  • $15,000 for costs endured due to epidemics/pandemics
  • $1000 for emergency dental expenses
  • $5000 for funeral expenses
  • $6000 personal baggage
  • $6000 rental vehicle excess

What’s covered by AA Travel Insurance’s Domestic Cancellation-only policy?

AA Travel Insurance’s Cancellation-only policy provides cover up to $600 journey cancellation. Another $600 cover is available in the event of an epidemic or pandemic.
