  • Essentials

What’s covered by AMP’s Comprehensive Cover?

Comprehensive travel insurance is AMP’s top-of-the range product. It features high cover limits and extended benefits for peace of mind while travelling.

It offers unlimited cover for overseas medical expenses and the loss of a deposit or trip cancellation, as well as:

  • $15,000 for missed connection or travel days
  • $30,000 personal baggage cover
  • Up to $3000 to replace travel documents
  • $2,500,000 personal liability cover
  • $3000 dental cover (as a result of injury)
  • $50,000 accidental death cover
  • $25,000 funeral cover

What’s covered by AMP’s Frequent Flyer policy?

AMP’s Frequent Flyer policy offers 12-month comprehensive coverage at a discount for regular travellers. Each overseas trip is covered up to a maximum of 60 days.

What’s covered by AMP’s Essential travel insurance policy?

AMP’s Essentials policy offers most of the same cover as its Comprehensive product, except with lower benefit limits. It doesn’t, however, cover accidental death or loss of personal cash.

The policy includes:

  • Up to $250,000 for overseas medical expenses
  • Up to $5000 for personal baggage
  • Up to $500 for the replacement of travel documents
  • $500 for missed connections or travel delays
  • Up to $500,000 for personal liability
  • $5000 for loss of deposit or cancellation
